Arrivals to Israel Drop More Than 90% in March Due to Iran War

Israel saw visitor arrivals drop over 90% in March 2026, with only 9,600 arrivals compared to 102,300 in March 2025, due to the war with Iran.

Jerusalem, 15 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Due to the war with Iran which began on February 28, sharp declines were recorded in the number of visitor arrivals to Israel. The total dropped more than 90% compared to March 2025, according to the data released by Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics. The ceasefire did not come into effect until April 8.

March 2026, original data:

9,600 visitor arrivals to Israel (70.6% of the entries were by air), compared to 102,300 in March 2025.

9,400 tourist arrivals, compared to 100,700 in March 2025.

In March, 48,800 visitor departures from Israel were recorded.
