Jerusalem, 16 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — After announcing in a post on Truth Social that a ten day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon will go into effect at Midnight tonight, Israel time, President Trump added that he intends to invite Prime Minister Netanyahu and President of Lebanon Joseph Aoun to the White House for what he called the “first meaningful talks between Israel and Lebanon since 1983, a very long time ago.”
