Jerusalem, 14 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today (Tuesday) in his office in Jerusalem with Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka.

Netanyahu said that the Czech Foreign Minister “represents” Czech-Israeli friendship “wonderfully” and asked him to thank Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babis for “the support, which is a long tradition between the Czech people and the Jewish people.”

“In the last century it was a deep moral partnership that has been proven over time, and now we are trying to elevate it to an even higher status,” added Netanyahu. “I thank you for your friendship and your integrity. Welcome to Jerusalem!”
