Jerusalem, 8 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education launched the National Program for public diplomacy and Public Leadership at a joint event.

As part of the program, a national student team will be established that will produce authentic content in real time, tackle disinformation, and present the story of Israel to diverse audiences in Israel and around the world.

Experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will accompany leading teachers and professors on a dedicated track to train them as mentors and provide them with professional tools in the fields of public diplomacy, digital communications, and entrepreneurship.

The program will constitute a significant pillar in the diplomacy major that currently operates in 103 schools across the country and includes approximately 250 teachers and approximately 5,248 students.
