Total Value of Assets Held by Israeli Public Hits $2.3 Trillion in 2025
The Bank of Israel announced that the total value of assets held by the Israeli public reached $2.3 trillion in 2025, a significant 15.5% increase.
Jerusalem, 17 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Bank of Israel reported that, in 2025, the total value of assets portfolio held by the public increased by approximately 15.5%, around 963 billion (Shekels $310 billion), to about 7.2 trillion Shekels ($2.3 trillion). This growth rate was significantly higher than the average annual increase of roughly 7% recorded over the past decade, explained the Bank.
The equity component in Israel rose by 459 billion Shekels ($148 billion), alongside an increase of about 211 billion Shekels ($68 billion) in cash and deposits.
The assets of mutual funds reached an all-time high of 757 billion Shekels ($244 billion).
