Route 40 closed southbound between Tzihor & Mitzpe Ramon from midnight due to weather; public urged to plan travel & obey police.
Due to the weather forecast, starting at midnight until further notice, Route 40 will be closed to traffic in both directions, between Tzihor Junction and Mitzpe Ramon. Situation assessments will continue throughout the night, and based on developments on the ground, further decisions will be made as needed, with operational discretion concerning the public’s peace and safety. The public is requested to plan their travels accordingly, stay updated through the media and official information channels, and obey the instructions of the police officers on site.
