According to the indictment, filed by Adv. Ariel Iluz from the Jerusalem District Attorney’s Office, after the outpost was evacuated, the defendant participated in a planned organization of dozens of participants, which included a preliminary briefing, division into groups, travel in a convoy of vehicles, wearing masks, and operational instructions, all with the aim of carrying out revenge operations in the village.
As part of the organization, the participants arrived at the village, where a violent riot began, including throwing stones at houses, setting vehicles on fire, setting houses on fire while people were inside them, damaging property and persons, throwing a molotov cocktail at a residential home while a family was inside, and spraying various graffiti, including racist graffiti. During the riot, stones were thrown at close range at a vehicle in which a family was traveling, and during the incident, a baby sitting in the vehicle was injured, as was a person standing near the vehicle.
The indictment indicates that the defendant took an active part in the riot, threw stones, and acted in concert with others during the riot, with awareness of the violent and dangerous nature of the acts and their racist motives.
The indictment attributes to the defendant the commission of offenses of riot resulting in damage motivated by racism, malicious damage and attempted malicious damage in concert motivated by racism, aggravated assault in concert motivated by racism, as well as arson in concert.
