Breaking Update

Police officers from the Judea and Samaria District and Border Police fighters in Judea and Samaria continue the manhunt for a suspect in the theft of an Israeli citizen’s weapon this evening in the southern Hebron Hills, following the incident that occurred this evening near Susya.

Meanwhile, the Judea District Commander, along with the commander of the Judea Brigade and additional security officials, held an inter-organizational situation assessment, in which the Police command staff and the IDF brigade participated. A situation assessment is currently taking place in the field, headed by the Commander of the Judea and Samaria District, Superintendent Moshe Pinchi. As part of the investigation assigned to the Minorities Department of the Central Unit of the Judea and Samaria District, together with the Shin Bet, testimonies were taken from those involved. The suspects arrested for the violence that occurred will be transferred for further police investigation. Meanwhile, forensic investigators have begun collecting findings and evidence at the scene, and intensive intelligence gathering activities are underway.
