Police arrest suspect with drugs, cash after pursuit in Tel Aviv

Various types of dangerous drugs were seized from the suspect, including a substance suspected to be cocaine, in a quantity not for personal consumption, and thousands of shekels in cash.During the weekend, as part of an operational activity by police officers from the Shar’at station, in cooperation with Border Police fighters from the Tel Aviv branch, the officers noticed a suspicious individual tampering with a motorcycle in the city.The suspect noticed the officers approaching to check him and began to flee on foot. After a short pursuit, he was arrested inside a building on HaCongres Street in the city.During a search conducted along the suspect’s escape route and on the motorcycle he used, substances suspected to be drugs of various types were seized in a quantity not for personal consumption, including a substance suspected to be cocaine, as well as cash in the amount of 14,000 shekels.The suspect (South Tel Aviv, 28) was arrested for investigation and was imprisoned at its conclusion.
