Nine Drug Labs Raided, 24 Arrested
Israeli police raided nine illegal drug labs in the Tel Aviv area, arresting 24 individuals and seizing 800 kg of cannabis.
Jerusalem, 22 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The israel police reported that 24 people were arrested, 23 of whom were imprisoned, on drug charges as nine illegal drug cultivation and production laboratories in the Tel Aviv area were uncovered by authorities and raided.
Thousands of seedlings and materials suspected of being cannabis, weighing a total of 800 kg gross, were seized, along with materials suspected of being various types of drugs and cash totaling tens of thousands of Shekels.
The raids came last Wednesday, February 18, after an undercover operation was completed.
