During the deployment, sounds of gunfire were heard, which later turned out to be shots fired at a house. The forces began to conduct searches around the neighborhood where the shooting occurred and identified a vehicle attempting to flee the scene with a suspect inside. The detectives signaled the vehicle to stop and simultaneously blocked its path, until the vehicle collided with a police car. The suspect, a resident of Nazareth (22), was immediately arrested, and a search of his vehicle revealed the weapon used in the shooting and additional findings linking him to the commission of the offense. This morning, the police are expected to request an extension of his detention.
