Jerusalem Police Seize 10kg Drugs, Weapons in East Jerusalem Raid

Jerusalem District Police officers seized over ten kilograms of drugs, including cocaine, prescription medications intended for distribution, weapons, and tens of thousands of shekels in cash during a raid on a compound in the eastern part of the city. As part of the ongoing struggle against drug offenses and the possession of illegal weapons, undercover officers from the Sheft police station, in cooperation with the K-9 unit and the Enforcement Operations Coordination Administration (EPCA) fighters, raided a compound in East Jerusalem. During the operation, over ten kilograms of substances suspected to be marijuana and hashish, tens of grams of a substance suspected to be cocaine, hundreds of pills of prescription medications suspected to be psychoactive substances intended for illegal distribution, five magazines for an M16 rifle, a pistol holster, a ceramic vest, and cash totaling 37,200 shekels were seized. Three vehicles used by the suspects were towed and seized for forfeiture. A suspect (24), who resides at the location, was arrested for investigation, and his detention was extended by the court.
