Jerusalem, 20 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Police warned the public about a new phishing campaign to steal people’s personal and credit information.
In recent days, complaints have been received about phishing messages impersonating the “Fine Collection Center” or the “National Driver Inquiry Center,” sent via SMS, and allegedly warning of a financial debt, a traffic fine, or a collection process, while referring to an external link for immediate payment.
This is a fraudulent attempt to steal personal and credit information.
