Hebron Police Seize 22 Unfit Vehicles, Suspend 9 Licenses

As part of an operation carried out by Hebron station police officers, 38 tickets were issued for life-threatening offenses, nine driver’s licenses were suspended, and nine vehicles were taken off the road. Additionally, 22 unfit vehicles prohibited for use were seized. In parallel, as part of a collaboration with IDF forces on Route 60, an Israeli bus was seized near Kilks Junction. The bus was traveling on the road despite being registered as unfit for travel, having been taken for dismantling and posing a risk to road users. A traffic proceeding was initiated against the driver (a 30-year-old resident of Samu’) who was driving the Israeli vehicle without a permit. The bus was confiscated and will be processed for destruction. In another operation conducted by Ezyon station police officers in collaboration with the IDF, two drivers residing in Judea and Samaria were located and apprehended on Shabbat night at the Carmei Tzur junction, driving unfit vehicles bearing Israeli license plates. Furthermore, two vehicles prohibited for use were located by the station’s traffic police in the same area and were towed from the scene. In parallel, 34 traffic tickets were issued to law-abiding drivers for life-threatening offenses, including illegal overtaking and crossing a solid line.
