Jerusalem, 27 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — An illegally residing Filipino citizen, who has been in Israel for 23 years, was arrested in the city of Ramla.

Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority said, according to the information it reviewed, the woman is suspected of taking over the home of a deceased elderly nursing home resident for eight months, and even issuing restraining orders against his family members.
