A check of the vehicle revealed that the driver had an 11-year-old passenger sitting next to him. A sobriety test conducted on the driver at the scene using a breathalyzer yielded an abnormal result of 949 micrograms of alcohol per liter of exhaled air, which is 4 times the legal limit. The driver (from Tirah, age 30) was arrested and transferred for further investigation and processing at the Arad station. His vehicle was impounded for 30 days. Today, a serious indictment was filed against him for drunk driving, reckless driving, overtaking when the road was not clear, overtaking while crossing a solid dividing line, deviating from a lane of travel while endangering traffic, deviating from a lane of travel under aggravating circumstances, and driving without a valid insurance policy.
