Border Police fighters and Northern District police officers arrested an armed individual immediately after a shooting incident targeting a business in Sakhnin. During the night, a report was received about a shooting that was carried out at a business in the city of Sakhnin.

The forces deployed in the field identified the suspect in the act of trying to escape the scene of the incident in an all-terrain vehicle, and initiated a pursuit. During the arrest, Border Police fighters from the Northern District, along with detective and riot police forces, seized several weapons suspected of being used to carry out the shooting. The suspect was transferred for investigation at the police station. At the end of his interrogation, he is expected to appear in court this morning for a hearing on the police’s request to extend his detention.
