Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan police station officers arrested a mohel on suspicion of negligent homicide, due to a complication during a circumcision procedure.

We are appealing to the public to locate additional victims who were harmed by the suspect Moshe Dera’i. On 3/31/26, an investigation was opened upon receiving a complaint regarding the death of an infant, on suspicion of negligent homicide, due to a suspected complication during a circumcision procedure. The suspect was arrested and interrogated. The court decided to release him to house arrest, and a further discussion will be held tomorrow morning. In the meantime, two additional complaints were received on suspicion of negligent injury by the mohel.
