The gang, headed by an inmate, operated violently, setting fire to property and businesses, instilling fear against debtors and their families, and terrorizing ordinary citizens, all while cynically exploiting their financial distress and to impose its authority and collect debts. In parallel to the raid and arrests carried out during the morning, a targeted raid was conducted on the cell of the gang leader, an inmate serving his sentence in Shatta Prison. During the raid, a large amount of property used for criminal activity was seized, including luxury vehicles, real estate assets, significant amounts of cash, and many documents.
As part of the fight against protection rackets, forces from the Northern District of Lahav 433, the Yamam, the Border Police National Guard, the Central Unit for the Prevention of Terrorism, and the Tax Authority raided this morning.
