According to suspicion, the suspect presented a false representation to the elderly woman and under various pretexts received tens of thousands of shekels and gold jewelry. Upon receiving the complaint, Northern District police officers opened an accelerated investigation, during which a variety of investigative actions, evidence collection, and the use of technological means were carried out, leading to the identification of the suspect’s identity and location. Yesterday afternoon, a resident of Nof HaGalil (31) was arrested in Netanya on suspicion of involvement in the act. During a search of his home, items were seized that are suspected to have been used by him in committing his deeds. The suspect was interrogated at the police station and his arrest was extended today.
