Jerusalem, 1 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Police said a large number of weapons were seized and 13 suspects were arrested during an enforcement operation in the south.

Over the weekend, forces from the Southern District and Border Police, in cooperation with regulators and civilian enforcement bodies, raided settlements in the Bedouin diaspora. During the operation, economic enforcement was carried out against the economic infrastructure of criminal elements: fines were imposed, debts were collected, and property with an estimated value of approximately 3,000,000 Shekels ($950,000) was seized and seized.

Three M16 rifles were seized in the Segev Shalom area.
