New Beachfront Hotels Planned for Ashdod

Jerusalem, 2 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Land Authority and the Ministry of Tourism publish a tender for a hotel plot on the beach in Ashdod’s District A.

The complex being marketed in the tender is intended for tourism and recreation hotels on the beach in. A development agreement will be signed with the winner for a period of four years, at the end of which, and provided that the developer has met the terms of the tender, a lease will be signed.

The area slated for development covers an area of approximately 176,000 square meters and is located in the north of the city, south of the port and north of the marina, on a coastal strip approximately 1,000 meters long and approximately 200 meters wide, between the road and the sea.

The coastal strip includes areas for public buildings, an open public area – beach, a hotel and recreation area, a sports and recreation area, road infrastructure, public parking and a connection to Lachish Park.
