Israeli Startup Q-Factor Raises $24M to Build Million-Qubit Quantum Computer
Jerusalem-based Q-Factor secured $24 million in seed funding to build a million-qubit quantum computer, employing neutral atom technology.
Jerusalem, 6 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Q-Factor, a new Israeli startup, has emerged from stealth with $24 million in seed funding to build a million-qubit quantum computer. The round was led by NFX and TPY Capital, with participation from Intel Capital, Korea Investment Partners, Deep33, the Matias family, and a grant from the Israel Innovation Authority.
Founded by four physicists from the Weizmann Institute and Technion, Q-Factor is developing neutral atom technology, which promises long-lived, precisely controllable qubits. Current quantum systems are too small for practical use, but Q-Factor aims to scale beyond thousands to over a million qubits.
