Israeli-Founded Factify Raises $73M to Build AI-Native Document Standard
Israeli-founded Factify raises $73 million seed funding to build an AI-native document standard, aiming to replace PDFs and transform business records.
Jerusalem, 28 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Factify, an Israeli-founded startup aiming to replace the decades-old PDF with an AI-native document standard, announced a $73 million seed round to build what it calls a new foundation for business records. The round was led by Valley Capital Partners with participation from prominent technology and finance leaders.
Founded in late 2023 by Matan Gavish, a former Hebrew University of Jerusalem computer science professor, Factify is developing “governed” documents designed to be trusted and acted on by both humans and AI systems. The company is initially targeting regulated, document-heavy sectors such as banking, legal services and insurance, while expanding its engineering efforts in Israel alongside a growing U.S. presence.
