Israel Air Force Eliminates Hezbollah Senior Commander Hassan Muhammad Bashir
The Israel Air Force has eliminated Hassan Muhammad Bashir, a senior Hezbollah commander responsible for anti-tank fire against Israel.
Jerusalem, 26 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) eliminated Hassan Muhammad Bashir, a senior Commander in the anti-tank unit of the terrorist organization Hezbollah, who commanded anti-tank fire toward northern Israeli communities over the past two years.
Last night, the Israel Air Force, said the IDF, struck and eliminated Bashir in the village of Ghajar In Southern Lebanon.
As part of his activities, Bashir advanced hundreds of terror plots against IDF forces and the citizens of the State of Israel. In addition, Bashir commanded several terrorist squads that carried out sustained anti-tank fire toward northern Israel, said the IDF.
In recent months, he began integrating into the anti-tank array in southern Lebanon and has since been working to train numerous terrorists.
“The elimination of Hassan Muhammad Bashir impairs the terrorist organization Hezbollah’s ability to continue advancing terror plots against the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF forces,” said the IDF.
