Israel Air Force Completes More Than 2,000 Aerial Refuelings
The Israel Air Force has conducted over 2,000 aerial refuelings of fighter jets since the war against Iran began on February 28, vital for maintaining air.
Jerusalem, 1 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Since the start of the war against Iran on the morning of Saturday February 28, the Israel Air Force fighter conducted more than 2,000 aerial refuelings of its fighter jets that must travel thousands of kilometers roundtrip.
The IDF said aerial refueling is an essential component of the Air Force’s operations in Iran, “enabling the maintenance of air superiority in the arena over time.”
