Purpose of the meeting: To promote the signing of a new bilateral agreement for the trade and services sector, alongside the continued promotion of arrangements in the nursing and construction sectors.
Currently, there are -48,881 foreign workers from India in Israel, employed in various sectors: nursing, construction, agriculture, experts, machinery and technology, expert chefs, renovation/infrastructure construction.
These days, as mentioned, intergovernmental discussions are taking place to expand the agreements to the trade and services sector, and at the same time, possible expansions are being examined for additional sectors, including agriculture, restaurants, and industry.
