President Herzog Receives Ambassadors of Fiji and Thailand
Israeli President Isaac Herzog welcomed Fiji's first-ever residential ambassador & Thailand's envoy in Jerusalem, boosting bilateral ties.
Jerusalem, 3 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli President Isaac Herzog welcomed the new ambassadors of Fiji and Thailand at his residence in jerusalem. Amb. Jesoni Vitusagavulu became Fiji’s first-ever residential Ambassador to Israel, a move Herzog called “a significant step in the development of bilateral relations.” In September, Fiji inaugurated its embassy in Jerusalem, the seventh embassy located in the Israeli capital.
Herzog also received Amb. Boonyarit Vichienpuntu of Thailand, praising the strong ties between the countries and highlighting opportunities for cooperation in innovation, agriculture, and tourism.
