Jerusalem, 14 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — MK Yael Ron Ben-Moshe, who entered the Knesset following Matan Kahane’s resignation from the Knesset, declared her allegiance in the Knesset plenum and will serve as a MK on behalf of the Benny Gantz’s Blue and White faction.
Maan Kahane resigned from the Knesset after the Blue and White Party’s leaders restored the party’s original name, ditching the “State Camp” name it adopted when it expanded to include other factions in the Knesset.
Kahane’s departure from the Knesset at this time allows him, in accordance with Israeli law, to seek election again to the Knesset with a different party whenever new elections are held.
