Wi-Charge and Marubun Team Up to Launch Infrared Wireless Power in Japan

Jerusalem, 4 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli company Wi-Charge is expanding its footprint in Asia through a new partnership with Tokyo-based Marubun Corporation. Under the value-added reseller agreement, Marubun will bring Wi-Charge’s long-range wireless power technology to Japan’s B2B market, targeting sectors such as industrial automation, logistics, healthcare, and retail.

Wi-Charge, headquartered in Tel Aviv, developed its AirCord system, which delivers infrared power safely across room-sized distances, eliminating the need for batteries or wiring. The collaboration will focus on commercial and industrial applications where consistent power and clean design are critical. Marubun, a leading Japanese electronics distributor founded in 1844, will handle go-to-market strategy and integration.
