Jerusalem, 29 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt arrived Sunday for the first state visit to Israel following the 12-day war with Iran. Dobrindt held a joint press conference with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar in Bat Yam at the site of an Iranian missile strike.
Sa’ar called on the E3 nations — Germany, France, and the UK — to activate the UN “snapback” mechanism in response to Iran’s nuclear violations. Dobrindt expressed full support for Israel’s recent military actions and warned that Iran’s aggression threatens not only Israel but all of Europe.
“Nuclear weapons in Iran’s hands are unacceptable,” said Dobrindt.
