UN Underreported Aid Delivered to Gaza by 6,00 Trucks Since May Alone

UN underreported aid deliveries to Gaza by 6,000 trucks since May alone. Israeli agency COGAT exposes severe reporting discrepancies.

Gil Tanenbaum Breaking News

Jerusalem, 19 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — There have been “severe reporting discrepancies” made by the UN as to the amount of aid that has reached Gaza, said the Israeli agency COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories: Judea and Samaria and towards the Gaza Strip), pointing out that nearly 6,000 aid trucks that entered Gaza since May were omitted from UN Reports.

Since May, according to UN data, only 3,553 trucks entered Gaza.

In reality, Israel facilitated the entry of nearly 9,200 trucks, 2.5 times the volume of aid that the UN claims actually reported.

“UN data on the volume of aid, along with repeated statements and reports by senior members of the international community, are often presented as an indisputable absolute truth,” said COGAT. “However, the UN’s documentation and monitoring mechanisms are deficient and present a misleading, partial, and at times inaccurate picture of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.”

The UN publishes its figures through a public dashboard that claims to present a full picture of all humanitarian aid, but in practice it includes only the trucks facilitated by UN agencies and a small number of aid organizations working with them. The dashboard fails to include aid delivered by other actors in the humanitarian system, including various states, additional international organizations, the private sector, airdrops, and the distribution centers of the American company, explained COGAT.
