Two Arrested for Pledging Allegiance to ISIS, Planning Abroad Training
Two arrested in Israel for pledging allegiance to ISIS & planning foreign terrorist training. Suspects learned to make pipe bombs, aimed to target IDF soldiers.
Jerusalem, 18 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) — A 20-year-old suspect, Kinan Azaiza from the northern Arab town Daburiyya, and another suspect, from acre, were arrested for pledging allegiance to ISIS and planning to travel abroad for training purposes.
According to the suspicion, Azaiza and the other suspect planned to illegally leave for an enemy country and conduct training or instruction for terrorist purposes.
Intelligence raised suspicions that the two planned to illegally travel to an enemy country and conduct training or instruction for terrorist purposes, and that they had carried out preparatory actions to that end.
During the interrogation of Kinan Azaiza at, it emerged that he had sworn allegiance to the Islamic State terrorist organization in order to realize the organization’s goals, expressed willingness to carry out security activities on behalf of the organization, and considered carrying out security terrorist activities against IDF soldiers. It also emerged during his interrogation that he had been in contact with elements abroad, learned how to manufacture pipe bombs and explosives, and also planned to go abroad for training purposes.
