Security sources confirmed Monday that the International Committee of the Red Cross is currently en route to a designated collection point in southern Gaza, where they are expected to rendezvous with freed hostage Edan Alexander in Khan Younis.

Brigadier General (res.) Gal Hirsch, Israel’s Coordinator for Hostages and Missing Persons, is making his way to the reception area in Re’im by Israeli Air Force helicopter, alongside Steve Witkoff, the U.S. Presidential Envoy to the Middle East appointed by President Donald Trump.

Adam Boehler, another prominent Trump administration figure, is already present at the Re’im base, where he is accompanying Alexander’s family.

Thus, both Boehler and Witkoff will be on-site to witness Alexander’s return to Israel.
