Jerusalem, 18 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Police announced they have concluded an undercover investigation into allegations of extortion, bribery, fraud, and breach of trust involving three senior rabbinical court officials. Investigators suspect the officials used their positions to blackmail another senior figure to advance personal interests. The case has now been forwarded to the attorney general’s office for review and a decision on potential prosecution.
