Jerusalem, 25 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Police reported that three contractors have been disqualified from public construction tenders due to alleged associations with organized crime groups. In addition, more than 10 contractors are in the process of having their cases reviewed for disqualification.
This came as a result of continuing investigations into “protection rackets.”
The police allege that actions were taken against other contractors to prevent them from acquiring government contracts.
