The Tax Authority today published an updated forecast for the collection of levies on oil profits and excess profits from natural resources in the coming years. The forecast is higher than the previous forecast, mainly due to an increase in the forecast for the amount of gas in the Leviathan reservoir, despite the fact that a year has passed, and also because the Katlan reservoir (from the Energian Group) was added to the forecast, which received possession from the Ministry of Energy shortly after the previous year’s forecast.
