Jerusalem, 23 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Earlier today (Wednesday), Israeli security forces in Nablus (Shechem) the terrorist Abd al-Karim Tsanobar, who carried out the bomb attack on three parked buses in the cities of Bat Yam and Holon, on February 20, 2025.

The security forces arrested the terrorist after a manhunt that lasted several months. An explosion that occurred yesterday, Tuesday, which apparently resulted from the terrorist coming into contact with additional bombs in his possession, led the forces to the terrorist, who was injured and fled the apartment.

During the night, IDF (Israel Defense Forces), Border Police and Shin Bet (Israel’s anti-terror General Security Service) forces launched a large-scale manhunt that lasted approximately 19 hours.

As part of the manhunt and during searches conducted near the building where the explosion occurred, the forces located and destroyed several ready-to-use explosive devices in the terrorist’s possession.

“The arrest marks a significant operational and intelligence achievement, after a prolonged period of intensive intelligence activity by the IDF and Shin Bet, which included a series of operations in the field, which built up and led to the terrorist’s arrest,” said the three security forces in a joint statement.
