Tel Aviv Woman Suspected in Plot to Kill Netanyahu, Police Say

Jerusalem, 23 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli Police said on Wednesday they have concluded an investigation into a suspected plot to assassinate Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Authorities say a Tel Aviv woman in her seventies, described as an anti-government protester, allegedly expressed intent to carry out the assassination and sought weapons from fellow activists. She also reportedly sought information on Netanyahu’s security arrangements.

A court has imposed a gag order on the suspect’s identity.
