Tehina Hanassikh Company Announces Positive Salmonella Result in Some Products

Tehina Hanassikh Company issues voluntary recall due to positive salmonella test results in select products, urging customers to avoid consumption.

Tehina Hanassikh Company wishes to inform the public that a positive salmonella result was found in some of its products. 

In coordination with the Food Service and as a measure of precaution and responsibility toward its customers, a voluntary recall is being conducted for raw tahini products **from all expiration dates starting from 07/13/2027 up to and including 11/06/2027**.

Al Amir 450 g + 900 g + 17 kg, Ta’aman 450 g – Pure and Whole, Rami Levy 500 g – Pure and Whole, Rami Levy 1 kg Pure, HaNasi (The Prince) Pure 450 g + 17 kg, HaNasi (The Prince) – Whole 450 g . KAPRI 450 g + 900 g, Golden Grain – 500 g.
       

The company asks customers who purchased the company’s products with the above dates to **avoid consuming them**. 
In coordination with the Ministry of Health‘s Food Service, the company is working to collect the products from distribution channels.

In healthy people, the Salmonella bacteria can cause an intestinal illness characterized by fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.

In rare cases, complications can occur. In sensitive populations such as young children, individuals with weakened immune systems, and the elderly, the bacteria may cause severe illness or even death.
