Jerusalem, 19 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Education published on Tuesday the list of 370 upper division schools from across the country that excelled in the previous school year (2024 – 2025) in the areas of values, social and academic achievement.
In light of their achievements, each and every teaching staff member at the winning schools will be rewarded with a monetary amount ranging from 3,654.44 Shekels ($1,081) to 9,745.19 Shekels ($2,873), in accordance with the agreement reached between the Ministry of Education, the Teachers’ Union, and the Ministry of Finance, as part of the “Zeal for Change” reform. This year, 11 of the winning schools are upper divisions that were evacuated following the “Iron Swords” war.
The selection of the winning schools was made based on a weighting of a series of indicators in the areas of values, social and academics, as well as according to the rate of improvement made by the educational institutions.
