Students Join Israeli President for Olive Harvest
Students join Israeli President Isaac Herzog for annual olive harvest at the President's House garden in Jerusalem. Symbolism of olive tree and olive oil
Jerusalem, 30 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — President Isaac Herzog hosted the annual olive harvest at the President’s House garden in Jerusalem on Thursday. Joining him were students helped gather olives from more than 60 trees in the residence’s garden. The olives will be pressed into “Presidential” olive oil and gifted to visiting dignitaries throughout the year.
During the harvest, Herzog discussed the symbolism of the olive tree and the process of producing olive oil.
