State Archives of Israel Releases Over 30,000 Never Before Seen Pages on 30th Anniversary of Yitzhak Rabin’s Assassination
Jerusalem, 4 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — To mark the 30th anniversary of the assassination of Prime Minister and Defense Minister Yitzhak Rabin, the State Archives of Israel is releasing unique, never before seen collections.
The collection brings together approximately 250 files (containing over 30,000 pages) and provides a rare glimpse into Rabin’s work and activities in the crucial and final year of his life, shedding light on the turbulent political and public dynamics that characterized the period, until his assassination on Saturday night November 4, 1995.
These newly published items join the State Archives’ collection of publications on Yitzhak Rabin and his work, including: the Peace Agreement with Jordan (1994), publications on the Oslo Accords, publications on the plan of the American Secretary of State W. Rogers and the end of the War of Attrition; on Yitzhak Rabin and the Interim Agreement with Egypt in 1975, and the first volume of the memorial book for Yitzhak Rabin (1922 – 1967).
