Jerusalem, 29 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — An investigation by Lahav (Blade) 433 – Israel’s version of the FBI – uncovered a smuggling route of prohibited fertilizers that can be used for making explosives for sale to terrorist elements in Judea and Samaria. Four suspects were arrested.
The materials were sold by a 66-year-old Israeli resident of Pedaya, a town in central Israel, and smuggled in a truck driven by a 40-year-old resident of eastern Jerusalem to the buyers – 50-year-old residents of the Palestinian Authority from the Hebron area.
In an operational activity, on May 6, a truck was stopped on Highway 60 near the Gush Junction (south of Jerusalem), containing hundreds of sacks of the prohibited fertilizers.
