Jerusalem, 13 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported a slight increase in the rate of employment in March.

In March 2025 (compared with February 2025, among persons aged 15 and over):
Participation rate in the labor force – 62.6% (62.5% in February).
Employment rate (the percentage of employed persons out of the total population) 60.8% (60.7% in February).
Unemployment rate from the labor force – 2.9% (2.8% in February).
Participation rate in the labor force among persons aged 25-64 – 80.7% (80.6% in February).
Employment rate among persons aged 25-64 – 78.6% (78.5% in February).
Unemployment rate among persons aged 25-64 from the labor force – 2.6% (same as in February).
The share of employed persons usually working full time out of total employed persons – 78.3% (79% in February).
