Jerusalem, 29 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Ministry of Transportation and Road Safety is promoting the establishment of seven advanced transportation terminals (hubs) in the north and Haifa.
To that end, the National Planning and Building Committee (NPB) approved today (Monday) four large-scale plans by the Ministry of Transportation and the Ayalon Highways Company, for the construction of infrastructure facilities and integrated public transportation terminals (hubs) in Acre North, Neot Carmel, Tirat Carmel South and the Science Junction in Yokneam.
The new terminals will allow, among other things, adding bus lines, increasing the frequency of trips, improving the working and rest conditions of drivers, and expanding the national electric bus network with advanced charging stations, said the Ministry.
