Jerusalem, 20 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — A senior Hezbollah terrorist was killed today by Israeli forces in Lebanon.
An IDF spokesperson said: “Earlier today (Friday), the IDF attacked and eliminated using aircraft, Muhammad Khathar al-Husseini, commander of the Litani sector fire unit of the terrorist organization Hezbollah, in the Shabrha area in southern Lebanon.
“During the war, the terrorist led numerous firing lines towards Nahariya, Haifa and other cities in the country.
“Recently, the terrorist was engaged in attempts to rehabilitate the artillery forces of the terrorist organization Hezbollah. His actions constituted a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon. The IDF will continue to act to remove any threat to the State of Israel.”
