Jerusalem, 26 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — In the three months February-April 2025, approximately 22,430 apartments were sold, a decrease of 20.2% compared to the previous three months (November 2024-January 2025), and after seasonal adjustments, a decrease of 13.1% was observed. Compared to the same period last year (February-April 2024), a decrease of 10.2% was observed, and after seasonal adjustments, a similar decrease of 9.8%.

38.3% of the total apartments sold are new apartments, approximately 8,590 apartments, approximately 27.1% of which are government subsidized.

New apartments sold decreased by 33.1% compared to the previous three months (November 2024-January 2025) and seasonally adjusted, a more moderate decrease – 22.7%. Compared to the same period last year (February-April 2024) a decrease of 23.7%, seasonally adjusted a similar decrease (23.2%).

61.7% of the total apartments sold in February-April 2025 were second-hand apartments, approximately 13,840 apartments.

Compared to the previous three months, there was a decrease of 9.4%, and seasonally adjusted – a decrease of 5.7%. On the other hand, compared to the corresponding period last year (February-April 2024), there was an opposite trend with an increase of 0.8% and seasonally adjusted – an increase of 1.4%.
