Jerusalem, 25 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Quantum Art, an Israeli quantum computing startup, unveiled a plan to reach commercial quantum advantage by 2027 and build a 1 million-qubit system by 2033. The company’s roadmap starts with a 50-qubit system in 2025 and aims for 1,000 qubits by 2027. By 2031, it plans to scale to 40,000 qubits, leading to a fully fault-tolerant system two years later.
Quantum Art uses a trapped-ion approach and compact modular design to overcome major scaling challenges. CEO Dr. Tal David said the plan shows confidence in their technology and a clear path to practical quantum computing.
