Jerusalem, 4 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli startup QuamCore has raised $26 million in Series A funding to develop a superconducting quantum computer capable of hosting 1 million qubits in a single cryostat — a breakthrough that could redefine scalability in the industry. The round was led by Sentinel Global and joined by Arkin Capital, Viola Ventures, and others, with $4 million in non-dilutive funding from the Israel Innovation Authority.

QuamCore’s architecture integrates ultra-low-power control logic directly into the cryostat, eliminating major thermal and cabling barriers. CEO Alon Cohen said the goal from day one was to unlock “real-world quantum advantage” with a compact, scalable design.
